The New Franklin Food Pantry:
Nourishing Neighbors, Building Community
Most of the 34,000 residents who call Franklin home do so with hearts full of pride. However, while Franklin is considered an idyllic residential setting, it is not immune to food insecurity. Almost ten percent of Franklin’s residents aren’t sure where their next meal will come from.
Why does The Pantry need to move to 341 West Central Street?
The Pantry has been very fortunate to enjoy our current space for the last 13 years, but we have outgrown our space and cannot expand our programs and services to serve more people in this building.
It’s not about the building, it’s about what we will do in the building!

The Pantry offers in-person shopping, pre-packaged curbside bag pickup, weekend backpacks for kids, and mobile pantries to more than 1,100 people in 500 households each year. With your support, we provide fresh produce, varied proteins and dairy products, personal care, and household cleaning products to our neighbors. In this building, we will offer expanded programs and services to meet ever-increasing demand.
