Franklin Food Pantry Names Capital Campaign Committee

The Capital Campaign Committee, led by Franklin Food Pantry Board member, Suzanne Gendreau, consists of local leaders and Pantry staff and will work to raise funds to renovate 138 East Central Street into a vibrant functioning Food Pantry. In April of 2020, The Pantry purchased the building to better serve its neighbors. In addition, The Pantry has hired Franklin-based Brad Chaffee of Camford Property Group as its project manager and Kuth Ranieri Architects as its architect to design the plans of the new Pantry.

Turkey Trot 2020

The annual Franklin Turkey Trot will still happen in 2020! The fun 5K will occur with a few changes to keep all of our runners safe and provide help to the Franklin Food Pantry neighbors. While the turkey trot will still officially run on Thanksgiving morning, November 26th, each runner can run or walk your own personal 5K when it is most convenient for you and can map out your favorite course anywhere throughout town.

Food and drives – Dos and Don’ts!

We are approaching our busiest Food and Fund drive time of the year. We appreciate the commitment to ending food insecurity that our community shows us and this year, more than ever, we need your help to help feed our over 1400 neighbors who visit us. This year though, our food drives need to be a little different.
