The Weekend Backpack Program offers relief – and hope – for kids struggling with hunger in Franklin. This collaboration with Franklin Public Schools hopes to improve comprehension, attendance and grades by providing weekend food to kids in need.
“And to you volunteers who gave your measure of devotion to those suffering from food insecurity, we give you our heartfelt thanks.” Volunteers donated more than 5,000 hours of service to the Pantry last year.

The Franklin Turkey Trot and 5K Family Fun Run has become a favorite holiday tradition for many runners, families and groups on Thanksgiving morning. Help us kick off this holiday by joining in the fun on November 22!
Last year we distributed nearly 22,526 bags of groceries to 1,000 individuals. Monetary donations allow us to supplement food donations with fresh food and other essentials. Please help us fill some grocery bags.
