We were so happy to have our volunteer luncheon again and see our volunteers back in-person. At the luncheon we had a chance to mingle, hear from Pantry leadership about what’s new at the Pantry and what’s next for volunteers as well as listen to some important guest speakers. Special thanks to the Gendreau family for hosting, Starbucks for donating delicious coffee, and to our guest speakers: Jamie Hellen, Franklin Town Manager, Cobi Frongillo (on behalf of Representative Jeff Roy), and Jim Rocbe, Interim President of the Board. We are so appreciative of all of our volunteers who help us with distribution, stocking shelves, home delivery, packing bags, calling neighbors, serving on committees, tending the garden and all the other ways they help fight food insecurity throughout our community.
