Franklin Residents
The Franklin Food Pantry provides access to no-cost food, personal care items, and household necessities to residents of the town of Franklin, Massachusetts.
The following food assistance programs are available to Franklin residents:
Shopping by Appointment
Make an appointment to shop inside The Pantry on Tuesday, Thursday or Friday between 9am and 1pm.
Walk-in Shopping
Shop inside The Pantry on Tuesdays between 2pm and 3:30pm, no appointment needed.
Curbside Distribution
Drive up to The Pantry on Tuesdays between 5:30 and 7pm to receive groceries for the week.
Mobile Pantries
Receive food at one of four mobile locations in Franklin. For locations, please call 508-528-3115.
Online Ordering
Choose and order your groceries in advance for pickup during Curbside Distribution on Tuesdays between 5:30pm and 7pm.
SNAP Match
Unlimited dollar-for-dollar match for SNAP recipients at Franklin Farmers’ Market. Visit The Pantry booth at the Franklin Farmers’ Market, which is open June through October on Fridays between 2pm and 6pm.
Holiday Meals
The Pantry provides Franklin clients with Thanksgiving and Winter Holiday meals. Meals are distributed in November and December.
Weekend Backpacks
The Weekend Backpack Program provides child-friendly meals and snacks to Franklin Public School students who might otherwise experience hunger during the school year. To receive a Weekend Backpack, please contact your child’s school nurse.
Home Delivery
Home delivery is reserved for medically homebound clients in Franklin who cannot visit The Pantry due to medical or mobility issues. Please call 508-528-3115 to determine eligibility.
How to Register
Call 508-528-3115 or email appointments@franklinfoodpantry.org to schedule a meeting with our Client Services Manager. Please bring proof of residency (such as a utility bill, lease, or vehicle registration) to confirm you live in Franklin. The Pantry does not require proof of income.
Transportation
Clients are responsible for making travel arrangements to and from The Pantry. Please visit GATRA for public transit serving in Franklin, Massachusetts.
