The Food Pantry attracts passionate and devoted volunteers. We count on a core group of more than 70 volunteers who are involved in the daily operations of the Pantry. They work directly with clients, pick up food from local grocers and farms and deliver it to the Pantry, stock and organize shelves, and assist with the Mobile Pantry and Healthy Futures Market. This group is essential to the ongoing operations of the Pantry and usually requires a daily, weekly or monthly commitment.
There are a variety of opportunities for adults who wish to help out on site at the Pantry. Visit our Volunteer Application Page to learn about current openings and shifts.
Adult volunteers who are interested in helping us pack backpacks for students in our Weekend Backpack Program can sign up here.
We are not able to accommodate individuals seeking court-ordered service hours.
