The Food Pantry attracts passionate and devoted volunteers. We count on a core group of more than 70 volunteers who are involved in the daily operations of the Pantry. They work directly with clients, pick up food from local grocers and farms and deliver it to the Pantry, stock and organize shelves, and assist with the Mobile Pantry and Healthy Futures Market. This group is essential to the ongoing operations of the Pantry and usually requires a daily, weekly or monthly commitment.

There are a variety of opportunities for adults and youth who wish to help out on site at the Pantry, as well as work on special projects in the community.

Due to the constraints of our building, it is difficult to accommodate large community and corporate groups of volunteers. However, we offer opportunities outside of the Pantry walls that you can help with. Learn more about group opportunities.
